Perspectives on the World Christian Movement

Our Perspective classes will soon be over.  It has been an intense 15 weeks of juggling jobs, child care, and traffic to get back and forth across Cincinnati every Wednesday night.  I will forever be thankful that I (Michele) had a job where I was permitted to read for hours while on the clock.  Bryon, fortunately, had already read the books at AWC, therefore was not required to read them again!  It was a struggle, however, the knowledge and spiritual impact that these classes had on us was truly invaluable!

We want to thank Amit, a GBS student from India, for giving us his time as we labored through pages of questions to complete our Project Paper.  He gave an insight and understanding of India that we completely lacked.  We quickly realized that through books and others we had gained a misconception of India and its culture, therefore we truly appreciate his time and detailed explanation of his country and life there.

We also want to thank Jesus for giving us this opportunity.  We feel that we will be much better equipped to return to Peru having finished the Perspecitives class.  We want to be ambassadors for Christ in the way that brings HIM the most glory and eventually leaves the Peruvian Church an indigenous work.

  1. Dearest Bryon and Michele,
How fun to know y'all have a blog now. =) I enjoyed reading this post, Michele. This class sounded intense, but very valuable, like Splice was to us.

    We love and miss y'all.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there when we get back in June.
